Domoplex

Domoplex Ltd is a leading Company in the manufacturing of welded wire mesh for the reinforcement of concrete. The Company was founded in 1983 by a group of Cypriot and Greek Companies, thus becoming the first significant Cypriot-Greek industrial venture on the Island. The Plant, situated at Ayios Athanasios Industrial Estate in Limassol, is using the latest technology in this field, thus ensuring the highest quality products which meet the demands of modern building industry. The production at our Plant commenced in April 1984. Until that time welded wire mesh was imported in small quantities from abroad, because its uses and application in construction industry on the island were very poor. DOMOPLEX succeeded to widen the market by developing a wide range of welded wire mesh products and putting into effect a successful marketing plan for promoting its products through the whole spectrum of the building industry, such as Civil Engineers, Architects, Building Contractors, retail sellers etc. At the same time the Company has succeeded to export its products to the Near and Middle East countries, Northern Africa countries, as well as to European Community countries such as Greece and the United Kingdom. In 1990 DOMOPLEX installed a second production line for welded wire mesh and increased the Plant's annual production capacity to about 15,000 tons. The Company today employs twenty five people, out of which five are university graduates. DOMOPLEX investing in Quality, maintains a fully equipped laboratory and implements a quality system based on the requirements of the International Standard ISO 9002. We are looking ahead to a promising future in the united, open European market.
