The event is organized by Dancehouse Lefkosia, under the auspices of the Cyprus Centre of the International Theatre Institute (CCOITI) and will include:
- Planet Dance: A series of both witty, enjoyable and informative, short animations, the films offer an easy accessible guide to what is contemporary dance (produced by the ‘The Place’- London Contemporary Dance, UK 2015)- 15’

The event will commence with a welcome note by Arianna Economou – President of the Governing Board of the Dancehouse Lefkosia. Following the welcome note there will be a reading of the Message of the International Dance Day 2018 – Region of Europe, written by the Israeli choreographer Ohad Naharin, one of the five selected authors of this year's messages, one from each of the five UNESCO Regions.
The message will be read by Andromachi Dimitriadou-Lindahl, member of the Board of Directors of the CCOITI and member of the Board of Directors of the International Dance Committee of the ITI.
