This is the thematic focus of the music performance staged by Gaia Zaccagni (percussion, vocals), Pantelis Ionas (guitar, oud, banjo) and Nikos Nikolaides (bouzouki, baglama) who having researched the rebetiko repertoire, present a selection of “crisis” songs inspired by the difficulties of life at times of crisis, by poverty and repression, by the consequences of economic, political and social crisis on man as an individual and as a social being, by the crisis in love and human relationships.
The trio is joined on stage by the prominent Greek performers Solon Lekkas (vocals,
dance) and Kyriakos Gouventas (violin)
