The Pier Beach, so called because of the local pier which formerly stretched out into the sea and was one of the most beautiful landmarks of the old city. The hotel commands the most breathtaking view of the whole of the Bay of Limassol.
At night the bay presents a most romantic sight; in the distance the lights of the ships in their moorings just outside the port twinkle brightly against the backdrop of the Akrotiri peninsula.
The Pier Beach is the ideally located opposite the golden sands of the beach and the crystal clear waters of the sea. A man-made reef of rocks protects the beach and offers an interesting collection of underwater life for all snorkelling enthusiasts.
Next to the beach is the promenade shaded by towering palm trees. Built on land which has gradually been reclaimed over the last half century, it provides a lovely spot for a gentle evening stroll or for a rest in the gardens or for an early morning jog. Children will enjoy the playground and the open grassy spaces.
