The Cyprus Investment and Securities Corporation Ltd (CISCO) was established in 1982. Its promoters were the Bank Of Cyprus, the Cyprus Development Bank and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a World Bank affiliate. CISCO was the first investment banking institution in Cyprus and its primary objective was to offer specialized financial service and assist in the development of the capital and money markets in Cyprus.
