Costas Kyriakides Photography

Costas Kyriakides is a professional photographer, an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS, 1995) and an Artiste de la Federation Internationale de I' Art Photographique (AFIAP, 1998). His photographs have won prizes in Pancyprian competitions of the CPS: (Cyprus Photographic Competition) in 1996, (first and third prize) .Cyprus Photographic Competition 1997, (first prize).Cyprus Cultural Landscape Competition 1997. (first prize), Cyprus Black and White Photography Competition 2000, third prize.

In August 1996 his photographs of the violent events in Cyprus were published in the media throughout the world, including'the Guardian, Le Figaro, Stern and Newsweek. He has published a booklet of his photographs depicting the churches of the Famagusta district and is the photographer and editor of the Cyprus Geographic. His photographs have been exhibited in Cyprus and abroad
