EP Architects

EP Architects is an internationally recognized architectural design firm that is working on a wide scope of projects inspired by the relationship between architecture, structure and landscape and the interest in innovative manufacturing techniques. Each project is approached in a visionary way, as a territory transformed by the parameters of urban and physical environment, program and interior requirements, materiality and tectonics. Essential for the firm's methodology is the development of advanced design techniques that introduce sustainability design ideas and structural parameters in the form-finding process of projects' morphology. Research is integral part of the firm's methodology incorporating information from other disciplines from the early stages of the design development integrating construction techniques and structural parameters in architectural design.

Elina Pattichi is a member of the Cyprus Scientific Technical Chamber. She received her Diploma degree from the School of Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens in 2009 with honors and undertook a Master of Architecture and Planning at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London (Design Research Laboratory). She represented Cyprus in the European Architecture Student Assembly (EASA) as the Cypriot National Contact in 2008-2010.

The firm received the 1st award in the competition for the design of the Footbridge at the Tasos Papadopoulos Avenue in Pafos city which has received international honors and was published in several magazines. Besides the first award, EP Architects has also won the second award in the same competition and two honourable mentions in the competition for the design of the Footbridge in Kyprianou Avenue in Pafos city and the Municipal Market & Parking in Larnaca city in Cyprus.

EP Architects gained considerable international attention when the Footbridge at the Tasos Papadopoulos Avenue in Pafos received the Special Judges' Recognition at the International 2013 MIPIM Architectural Review Future Project Awards competition. The firm was also a Finalist in the Architizer A+ Awards for the Architecture +Modeling category.
