The actual ceremony is a straightforward process, lasting only 10 to 15 minutes. Once concluded, the couple will receive the original signed marriage certificate from the responsible marriage officer. The Nicosia Municipality Civil Marriage Office is more than willing to provide the couple with as many true copies of their marriage certificate as desired, at a nominal charge.
The Civil Marriage Office operates daily, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 to 15:00.
