Our client, a company specializing in Data Warehousing, multi-dimensional OLAP cubes, Tabular models, Excel reporting (Pivot Tables, Cube Formulas and VBA) and Power BI is looking for an outstanding VB.Net Programmer to be based in their Nicosia, Cyprus office.

Responsibilities:

·      Perform analysis and programming duties in the development, implementation and support of information systems mainly using VB.NET and MS SQL Design

    and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance based on user requirement

• Work with business managers to analyze requirements both adding new functionality and enhance existing VB.NET / MS SQL based systems.
• Promote IT by identify new opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes.
• First level support and troubleshooting for VB.NET / MS SQL systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 3 year’s + experience as an analyst programmer
• Ability to understand and interpret requirements and promote optimal solutions.
• Attention to detail and passion for high quality code.
• Experience of  VB.NET and MS SQL Server
• Database design experience
• Fluent written and spoken English
